PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

PEO-1 To create good and civilized citizens among our graduates.

PEO-3 To groom students to develop professional skills for better employability or higher studies in various Civil Engineering disciplines.
PEO-4 To train the graduates for better professionalism, ethical outlook, communication skills, team work to face changes in their career.
PEO-5 To enhance the students' knowledge in sustainable development and global interconnectedness, will understand how civil engineering projects affect society and the environment.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES

A Graduates will demonstrate an ability to design solutions for complex Civil Engineering problems to meet the needs of the society with respect to sustainable development considerations.
B Graduates will demonstrate an ability to design solutions for complex Civil Engineering problems to meet the needs of the society with respect to sustainable development considerations.
C Graduates will demonstrate an ability to create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools such as CAD, FEM and GIS including prediction and modelling to complex Civil Engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
D Graduates will demonstrate an ability to understand the impact of the professional Civil Engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
E Graduates will demonstrate an ability to apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the Civil Engineering practice.
F Graduates will demonstrate an ability to Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
G Graduates will demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively on complex Civil Engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
H Graduates will demonstrate an ability to understand the engineering and management principles and apply these to one's own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage Civil Engineering projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

PSO 01 Augmenting subject domain specific skill for field practice Ability to understand and apply the latest engineering solutions related to both design and analysis problems pertaining to any of the specializations in civil engineering like Structural, Geotechnical, Water resource, Environmental, Transportation, Quality control, Surveying, Remote sensing & GIS, Project management etc and also to incorporate interdisciplinary associations.
PSO 02 Orientation Towards Higher Learning/Research Recognize aspiration and ability to set goals to pursue higher academic objectives identify newer domains of academic or industrial learning requirements or research.
PSO 03 Promotion of Entrepreneurship Apply knowledge and understanding of engineering principles to initiate entrepreneurship ventures/start-up initiatives.
PSO 04 Development of Project Management skills Ability to follow the procedure in various governmental, non-governmental, private Civil Engineering Agencies with professional skills and knowledge of tendering and various construction work sanctions.
